1. Information We Collect

When you install and use ShootAI on your Shopify store, we access:

• Merchant Information: Store domain, shop ID, and necessary access tokens granted during app authorization (`read_products, write_products`).
• Product Data: Product titles, descriptions, and imagery required to synthesize virtual try-on and catalog photography.
• Customer Try-On Uploads: When customers use the storefront Virtual Try-On feature, user-submitted customer photos are processed ephemerally in-memory strictly to render the try-on result and are NOT retained or sold.

2. How We Use Information

Information collected is used strictly to provide the core AI photography rendering services, fulfill merchant customer try-on requests, track credit balances, and ensure uptime and reliability.

3. Data Retention & GDPR Compliance

In accordance with GDPR and Shopify compliance guidelines:

• We honor all mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.
• Upon receipt of a shop/redact webhook (following app uninstallation), all associated store session tokens and merchant data are permanently purged within 48 hours.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We process AI inference using enterprise-tier cloud infrastructure (including Google Cloud AI APIs). No customer photos or proprietary brand assets are used to train foundational public AI models.
